Aimee Golant, a sixth-generation metalsmith uses her grandfather's tools to create works  which illuminate universal Jewish teachings in order to foster an understanding among people and create a more peaceful world.

Her strong Jewish-American identity is expressed by explaining the text on the mezuzah scroll, and illuminating the meaning of the tradition of hanging the mezuzah, to people of all faiths in hope of creating a more caring human community, and ultimately peace on earth.
