Marty Hook began his glass career at Shasta College in Redding, California, and went on to attend the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. Marty has lent his expertise for numerous workshops at San José State University, San Francisco State University and Shasta College. After working a number of years assisting in the production of glass in other studios, he built his own state-of-the-art Sumo Glass Studio in Northern California.
